This is just as likely to be an out-dated BIOS and option ROM issue because it was never been fully vetted for use with 64-bit OS. If you can not find a driver for your operating system you can ask for it on our forum. The worst part is that I have the sata drivers and put them on another ide drive, loaded them, and it still will not give me the option to install on All I have for that is the setup EXE (same as the one ihyagp linked to in this thread); is it possible to extract the files from it that I'd need

a few questions for you:did you have to use a FDD to update your bios or do you have an alternate method?what size was your segaate that you had working?you might Have you tried putting the SATA drivers on a USB key and seeing if it can pull them off there? Windows 7 is meant to reduce the driver compatibility issues Vista had, not introduce more or new ones. Note that the list of compatible operating systems in this table is not full.
